We are frequent visitors to this place. The owner knows us by name. This italian ice is not like the stuff you get in the freezer section of the grocery store. It is lighter and similar to a slurpee but not as granular. They have 24 flavors including at least two sugarfree all the time. They run a flavor of the month too. Everyone has tried lemon and or cherry but they have flavors like Black Raspberry, Vanilla Chip, Cherry Bordeaux (pieces of dark cherry in the ice), mango and coconut. If you like good quality soft serve ice cream then try the Radio Ball. This is a special concoction where they layer two flavors of italian ice of your choice between soft serve ice cream and put a dollop of soft serve on top. It is sugar heaven!!! Rosie's even offers schools and organizations 4 gallon buckets for fund raisers. I always get a few buckets to raise funds at Relay For Life and it sells out super fast! This is a tiny shop tucked away in an old plaza next to Char Hut off of Taft Street in Pembroke Pines. It is so worth the trip!

My boyfriend brought me to Rosie's after continuously talking about the "Radio-Ball." AMAZING! Definitely a must have. I've been a few time now & love the Cotton Candy Radio-Ball!

What a find ... I took my son to his doctor's appointment in the plaza and decided to walk around and notice a sign for Italian ice ... Growing up in Chicago I have spent many evenings with family and friends getting the best Italian ice in the city over on Taylor street so seeing this sign I was thinking I will give it a try but didn't expect very much from a little hidden place in Pembroke Pines. Well I am happy to say I was blown away of the flavors and quality. I ordered the Lemon and Bordeaux Cherry combo and I loved it it had pieces of cherry mixed right in. As soon as I ordered the owner said you must be from up north and I said yes I grew up eating Italian ice in Chicago, and I asked how could he tell because I knew what was an Italian ice lol. He introduced himself he said his name is Jerry and he was one of the owners and asked me to sample some of his other flavors and do I have to tell you I tried every sample he handed to me? Well of course not and every flavor was fantastic. I really liked how smooth the texture was of all his ices some other places it's closer to what when you expect in a snow cone but here it was smooth and silky. As soon as my son was finished with the doctor we walked back here and had some more it was so good had to order the pineapple this time. I am hooked I will be back with my entire family.

Oh man oh man oh man. What an amazing place. BEST Italian ice ever. This place brings a lot of childhood memories for me. Incredible frozen yogurt and lots of great ice cream as well. Vanilla chip Italian ice is the best!

Not good. Very disappointed with the selection. My ice cream taste bad and old. Italian ice cream seem like it was sitting there for weeks. No taste. The decor look like 1980s and the floors and tables were dirty. They give Philadelphia Italian ice a bad name. No fruit and no flavor. Never coming back. They need to shut down this place down.

Ice cream is wonderful! However; the attendant (boy that blasts soca music) seems like he favors the lemon ice far too much due to his sour attitude towards customers. Rosie needs people friendly employees.

Whole family loves this place. Great flavors and better when combined with soft serve ice cream. Worth the trip.

My wife grew up coming here. Brought me here on Vac. It lived up to her stories! Very tasty. Light yummy ice!

Summer in SoFla is hoooootttt. And I feel like this is the hottest summer in a long dang time. This is the perfect place to get a cool treat. I will start by giving you a little history lesson. Not on Rosie's, cause I don't really know their history, but rather on my history with Italian ices. When I was a child my dad took me to a little spot (only had a window) in Coconut Grove and got me an Italian ice. The sweet fruit flavored ice was sandwiched by creamy vanilla ice cream soft serve. It was the best thing I had ever tasted. Eventually that place closed - and ever since then I've been on the hunt for an Italian ice that measured up. I bought some at Publix - and while they were good, it left me thinking - where the hell is the vanilla ice cream?! Then something magical happened. I was browsing Yelp and found Rosies. Then I saw a picture posted to the listing. A RADIO BALL! THAT is what I've been searching for all these years. I was under the assumption that the little shop in Coconut Grove just added a special twist to their Italian ices and I'd never experience it again. But, after all these years....there it was....right on my phone screen. A RADIO BALL....must have it I thought to myself. "Do you want to get dessert" is what I should of asked my wife. Instead it was more of "ALRIGHT, I'M GOING TO GET DESSERT". Luckily she was all about it, and we headed over. The place is deff showing it's age - it's a little outdated, has some wear and tear....but the product is SO solid I'll put all those things aside. In a rare twist for me - the outdatedness of this place actually adds to the charm. They have an old school TV set - and well, for some reason that reminds me of the ice cream shops I used to go to with my parents when I was a kid. I can politely call this a dive-ice-bar...and while I usually stay away from dive bars...this place is somewhere I will strive to become the Duke of on Yelp. Radio Ball - the magical concoction I came for. It delivered! I went with strawberry - even though I wish I had gotten the Cherry - and it was delicious. My wife got the Watermelon - and it was great. The ice flavors are very potent. The creamy vanilla soft serve was excellent. They pour a little ice cream on the bottom of the cup, stack the top with the flavored ice, then top it with more soft serve. It's heavenly. They have a ton of flavors - so you can always get something new. The best part is taking that last half, and mashing it up with the ice cream to make a fruity, milky mix. SO.DAMN.GOOD. SUPER nice girl behind the counter served up the cold goodies with a smile. Overall, I am a HUGE fan. As I took my first bite I promise I was taken back to the summer of 95 - when my pop introduced me to Italian Ice. It took me a long time, but it felt so good to be reunited with my first true love.

Ice cream tastes more like ice than cream...not much cookie dough in cookie dough ice cream, but to be fair I didn't try the italian ice. Skip the ice cream at this place.

Ok - so here's the deal, the place is small, outdated and looks a bit beat-up.. But the goodies are SO SO SO good that I don't care! Congrats Rosie, you've won my heart. We came here after an awful experience at a different restaurant and was kind of skeptical as we walked in. But then the girl behind the counter greeted us and was so nice and polite that it kinda eased the tension. I ordered a radio ball with vanilla soft served and watermelon Italian ice. HOLY MOTHER OF ALL SWEETS. This was the perfect iced dessert. I am such a fan. And the prices were so reasonable! My husband ordered a strawberry and vanilla radio ball and although it was good, I would recommend getting the watermelon instead. The girls behind the counter also told us that the cherry Italian ice goes great with the vanilla soft served. I will return to give it a try. Definitely check them out. Definitely have a radio ball, And definitely try the watermelon flavor!

I do have a favorite Italian ice place, which is not this one, BUT that place did not serve gelatis (Italian ice and soft serve ice cream). THIS ONE DOES, and it's mighty good. But instead of gelati, they're called Radio Ball. It was my second time there and my boyfriend's first time. In our recent visit there, we shared a small cup of mango radio ball. Some Italian ice places have the ice quite thick and can barely taste the flavor, but we could really taste the mango here and it was nice and soft. A definite must on a hot, summer day. Always a nice light treat any other day! It is a bit hidden in the plaza (at the very end, close to the business building behind it). Good luck finding it!

As a fan of Rosie's for years, I'm saddened to comment on the experience I've had today. We were greeted by an employee with her feet up on the wall, clearly talking to her friend. After being ignored for 2 full minutes she held up a finger to let us know it would only be a few more minutes. Eventually she hung up the phone and approached the counter only to tell us she was out of our flavor , but she'd look in the back freezer. She then emerged from the back kicking a 5 Gal. Bucket of Rosie's finest Vanilla chip into the middle of the serving area, and proceeded to scoop our order from the floor. It was a this point that my wife wanted to leave, but I had my mind set in Vanilla Chip. In addition to all the garbages being full, the floor was sticky and the place had a general look and feel of dirtiness. I only hope that my experience will be better next time or it will be my last.

We were looking for a good Italian ice place and we came across Rosies it was really good the day we came it was like 90° outside and it was the best we will be back next year.

My bf took me to Rosie's after having lunch at Betty's Soul Food on Sistrunk in Ft Lauderdale. We both had the strawberry radio ball. It was delish!! Looking forward to going back again. Hmmm can't wait.
